Please include this form, with the contract above, for all repair and restoration orders.

What are you hours of operation?
We are open, by appointment, from 11:00AM to 6:00PM, M-F, and weekends by availability.  If you have a drop-off or a quick question, you are always welcome to walk in.  However, we can’t guarantee that we’re not with other clients, or working off site.

Where are you located?
We’re located at 113 Church Street in the Leunig’s building, on the 3rd floor. Our street level door is located between Leunig’s Restaurant and Danforth Pewters.  Unfortunately, our building does not offer an elevator. We operate with an electromagnetic security door and will typically only allow entry to no more than two people at a time and only by appointment.

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since January of 2004. Please check google reviews for reviews from our clients.

Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Visa/Mastercard and American Express with a 4% processing fee.  This is exactly what the banks charge us for processing this type of payment.

Do you repair jewelry?
We offer an extraordinarily wide array of repairs, starting at $100.  From stone replacement to advanced antique platinum restoration, we can most likely handle your repair needs.  We operate a state of the art jewelers studio, including a Rofin laser welding system.  Most repairs are available on the spot, by appointment.

Do you repair eyeglass frames?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer eyeglass repair.

Do you re-size rings?
We can re-size most rings up or down in size.  This service is available by appointment, on the spot.

Do you cut gemstones?
We do offer the cutting and repairing of all cabochon pieces (dome top, flat bottom).  We subcontract all of our lapidary work to professional gem cutters who devote their careers to the faceting of custom gemstones.

Do you offer gemstone grading reports?
We offer extensive grading reports that can help identify and qualify almost any gem-quality stone. However, we cannot issue GIA reports- only the GIA can offer this service.

Do you charge for appraisals?
Absolutely.  An appraisal is a legal document that requires a highly specialized equipment, experience, extensive education, and a storefront to perform.

Do you perform appraisals on-the-spot?
Yes.  Though, we charge just a bit more as it’s more difficult, and expedited.

Do I get a report when the appraisal is finished?
Yes.  You’ll receive a 15+ page document in digital format.  In essence you will learn everything you do and do not need to know about the piece with full photographs and photomicrographs.

Will you travel to me for jewelry appraisal?
Yes, though setup, breakdown, and travel time is billable at our on-the-spot rates.

Do you buy old gold and jewelry?
Yes, we do.  However, we approach this a bit differently then most buyers.  We’ll sit down with you and your old jewelry, show you several markets with which to sell, and then let you decide the best path for you to take.  There is no pressure, and you will be fully informed to make knowledgeable decisions.  We never value and purchase the same item. We also offer 100% of scrap value toward new purchases.
